Spiced Nectarine Crumble

Beautiful nectarines paired with gorgeous spices of cinnamon, nutmeg and cardamom to make this spectacular dessert! Serve it up with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream!


Spiced Nectarine Crumble


4 nectarines core removed and sliced

2 tablespoons lemon juice

1/2 cup coconut sugar

1/4 teaspoon cinnamon powder

1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder


Crumble:

1/2 cup flour

1/2 cup oats

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

1/2 cup brown sugar

3 tablespoons cold butter


Spray oven proof dish with non stick cooking spray. Set aside.


In a bowl add sliced nectarines, lemon juice, sugar and spices. Mix well. Place ingredients in dish.


In a separate bowl add oats, flower, sugar and cinnamon. Mix well. Add butter and crumb using your fingers. Distribute topping over nectarines.


Bake in oven for 20-30 minutes at 180°c till crumble has crisped. Serve with cold vanilla ice-cream.
