Marinated Whole Chicken Legs

Hands down my favorite chicken recipe. Beautifully spiced with saffron, this recipe will have you licking your plates and wanting more!

Marinated whole chicken legs

1kg whole chicken legs

2 tablespoons lite mayonaise 2 tablespoons ketchup

1 tablespoon (or less) chilli sauce 1 tablespoon aromat or seasoned salt ½ teaspoon cumin ½ teaspoon coriander ½ teaspoon salt Pinch of saffron (soaked in 1-2 tablespoon boiling water) 1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Mix well together. Marinate chicken for 6 hours or overnight.

Spray oven proof dish with non-stick spray. Place legs inside and bake for 35 minutes at 200˚c. Then reduce heat to 160˚c for a further 20 minutes.

Serve with green beans and garlic bread.
