Don't know what to have for breakfast? Try this delicious Haloumi breakfast toast! Perfectly balanced to help keep you full for longer!
Haloumi Breakfast Toast
2 slices brown bread toasted 1 teaspoon butter 1 packet haloumi cheese 2 eggs boiled 4 -5 cherry tomatoes 5 large basil leaves
Boil eggs in water till yolks are no longer soft. 7-8 minutes. Peel eggs and set aside.
Heat a frying pan on medium heat. Open packet of haloumi cheese and discard any liquid. Cut cheese into slices. Place slices in heated pan and allow for water to evaporate and cheese to develop a golden brown color. Repeat for both sides. Set aside
Once bread is toasted, spread light layer of butter. Add cheese slices. Cut boiled egg into slices and place on top of cheese. Sprinkle with very little salt and some black pepper. Add sliced cherry tomatoes and basil leaves.
