Green Beans

A delicately seasoned green beans recipe that will be your new favorite!

Green Beans

Serving size: side dish – 2 people

200g green beans

1 teaspoon olive oil

1 teaspoon crushed garlic

Salt and pepper

½ small onion sliced fine

6 cherry tomatoes cut in half (if large cut into quarters)


Cut beans French style (remove ends then slice into pieces diagonally). Wash and set aside.


In a pot heat oil. Add crushed garlic and saute till fragrant. Add beans and cook on medium high heat tossing till they change to a darker color. Then season with salt and pepper.


Add onion and tomatoes and reduce heat to low. Add ¼ cup boiling water to pot. Cover with lid and leave to cook for 5 minutes. Once water had reduced turn off heat and leave to steam.


Serve with marinated chicken legs.
