Fistikli Kebap (Pistachio Kebabs)

Turkish lamb and pistachio kebabs are delicately spiced, moist and tasty. Gluten free, egg free and dairy free. Customize your sides to make the perfect meal for you.

Fistikli kebap (Pistachio Kebab)

400g ground lamb 4 tablespoons ground pistachios + 1 tablespoon (for garnish) 1 small onion grated or finely chopped 1 teaspoon crushed garlic 1 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon black pepper 1/2 teaspoon chili powder or red pepper flakes 1/2 teaspoon cumin 1/2 teaspoon sumac + 1/2 teaspoon (for garnish) 1 tablespoon lemon juice 1 tablespoon dried parsley flakes

Mix all ingredients together in a bowl till well incorporated and mixture becomes stringy. Form into oval patties.

Heat frying pan with 1 tablespoon olive oil. Cook Kebaps on stove till brown on each side.

Serving suggestion: yogurt dipping sauce and rice or bread.
