Only 5 ingredients, this tasty, simply sauce is the perfect addition to steak or chicken! Serve it up with sweet potato fries and salad for a truly enjoyable meal!
Mushroom Sauce
2 cups sliced white button mushrooms
1 tablespoon oil
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 cup cream (preferably whipping or thickened)
1 beef stock cube
Heat oil in frying pan. Add mushrooms and cook till mushrooms have shrunk and water has evaporated. Add cream, pepper and stock and mix well. Bring to a boil mixing so stock cube dissolves. Turn heat to low and leave to simmer for 5 minutes then turn off heat. Leave on stove for further 5 minutes before serving for sauce to thicken.
Perfect with chicken or steak!
