Chocolate Chip Pancakes

Fluffy, chocolate chip pancakes that will surely please the pickiest of eaters! Kid Approved!

Chocolate Chip Pancakes* - yeilds approx. 10 smallish pancakes

1 egg 3 teaspoon sugar 1 tablespoon butter melted Pinch of salt 100g plain flour 1 heaped teaspoon baking powder 100ml milk Hershey’s semi sweet chocolate chips

Crack egg and add to bowl. Whisk till yolks and white are mixed together. Add sugar and whisk briskly for 1 minute. Add butter and mix again. Add flour in portions alternating with milk to create smooth glossy batter. Add salt and baking powder and mix till well incorporated.

Heat a frying pan or griddle. Add 1/4 teaspoon butter and allow for the butter to melt in the center. Add the batter to the pan creating desired pancake size. Sprinkle with chocolate chips. When bubbles begin to appear on the pancake it is ready to be flipped. Flip and cook for 1-2 minutes further.

Serve warm! Perfect alone or enjoy with icing sugar, chocolate syrup, bananas or maple syrup!
