Cake Donuts

Nothing compares to the original yeast doughnut but these come pretty darn close! When you want to brighten up your table or surprise your little donut loving kid, these are perfect! Light and fluffy, you wont feel weighed down after eating them and the kids will absolutely love them!

Cake Donuts

1 box cake mix of choice (I used strawberry) 3 eggs 100ml oil 250ml water 200g melted chocolate (I used Hershey semi sweet chocolate chips) Sprinkles

Prepare cake mix according to directions by mixing dry ingredients with eggs, oil and water. Beat till well combined.

Place batter into a ziplock bag and cut the corner (mimic a piping bag). Pipe mix into donut moulds or donut maker. Cook for required time:

Donut moulds approx. 15 -18 minutes at 180 ˚c Donut maker approx. 6-8 minutes

Allow to cool. Dip in melted chocolate and cover with sprinkles.
