A childhood favourite of mine.
Baked Beans on Toast
1 tin Heinz Baked Beans
¼ small onion finely sliced 1 teaspoon olive oil 1 can baked beans ¼ teaspoon chili powder 1/3 teaspoon turmeric
1 tablespoon dried parsley
2 slices brown bread toasted
2 slices of cheese
In a pot add oil and onions. Sauté till onions are translucent. Add baked beans to pot and mix well. Add spices and turn heat off. Mix well.
Toast bread. Spread a thin layer of butter and add a slice of cheese. Add hot beans onto cheese. Enjoy.
